Liana Sayadyan

Since 2021, I am the External Communication Officer of Hetq Media Factory.

I have been in the "Investigative Journalists" organization since 2001, first as a journalist and since 2005 as a Deputy Editor.

I consider investing in education to be the most important thing. For this purpose, since 2001, in parallel with practical journalism, I have been lecturing at the Faculty of Journalism of Yerevan State University, I am an Associate Professor of the Chair of New Media and Communication.

I have always combined the work of the Deputy Editor with fundraising. For the activities of the "Investigative Journalists" organization, I initiated and managed many grant programs, I presented "Hetq" in Armenia and abroad at various platforms, conferences, etc.

I have undergone professional training in American and European media outlets and journalism schools. Transferring knowledge and skills is a pleasant activity for me.

I am the representative of the Association of European Journalists in Armenia, and I try to use my membership in this organization to bring the problems of our country and the Armenian media to the attention of European institutions.
