Our Story Isn’t Over Yet: Help Us Keep Writing It

Dear friends,

For five years now, Hetq Media Factory has been providing free education, training a new generation of responsible and principled journalists. We firmly believe that quality education is the only path to a prosperous and just country. We have always kept our doors open to young people eager to learn, ready to guide them in life and in their profession. But soon, those doors may close.

Our main supporter has unexpectedly stopped funding us. Simply put, we no longer have the means to continue our work. But we are not giving up. We do not want to abandon what we do with love and see real results from. We do not want to shut our doors to the young people who apply to us every year with dreams of becoming professionals.

Critical thinking, teamwork, asking bold questions, learning to write and speak — and, most importantly, to listen, understand, and draw conclusions — this is what we teach our students, alongside the tools and skills of investigative and multimedia journalism.

Many of our graduates are ready for work and life as knowledgeable and principled professionals — honest and resilient individuals. They have joined both leading local media outlets and international platforms, earning dozens of professional awards.

They uncover hidden truths, recover forgotten stories, and amplify the voices of those whose rights have been violated. They speak on painful yet important issues — this is what Armenia needs, we are certain.
