Biography

Since 2020, I have been leading the education department of the Hetq Media Factory, which means supervising the process of teaching and studying with innovative methods for instructors and students. I am happy to incorporate my experience and knowledge into this project and contribute to its foundation and development.

Within the framework of Hetq Media Factory, I also coordinated "WikiGraphers: Visualizing Free Knowledge" educational project and Corruption Reporting Evening School.

I have been working in the field of education for many years. Everyone in this world has the right to education, and I try my best to contribute to the foundation and development of new educational platforms. From 2013-2019, I coordinated the educational programs in Wikimedia Armenia, within the framework of which hundreds of university and school students, as well as teachers, had an opportunity to create free knowledge on Wikipedia, the largest online encyclopedia in Armenian.

In 2013, together with the international education program leaders, I co-founded the Wikipedia Education Collaborative network, where participants can share their knowledge and experience, supporting other educational programs to achieve their goals.

I’ve been committed to online volunteering for nearly nine years now. I believe that it is important not only to receive, but also to give something. In addition, volunteering is an excellent way of self-education. I am one of the active volunteers of Wikipedia and other wiki projects, the Library of Congress, and Project Gutenberg.

In 2008, I graduated from the Yerevan Brusov State Linguistic University, specializing in English and Spanish languages.
